Although born and raised in New Jersey,
Chris will always tell you he’s
from Ithaca, a small progressive city nestled in
the mountains of
upstate New York. Moving there in 1996, he worked for a family owned
café whose passion for espresso
bordered on obsession. When the café
closed its doors, Chris decided to pursue his calling at The Culinary
Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. In addition to a degree in
Culinary Arts, the CIA would also provide him with
a fresh perspective
on the production of local sustainable foods and put him in touch with
the very people that grew,
cooked or served food in this way. Taking
these ideals with him to Florida, Chris worked for a variety of upscale
venues
before starting his own private chef service with his wife,
Trish. Together they would take on small dinner parties and events
in
some of the area’s most notable communities. Currently, Chris and Trish
run Palm Beach Organics, delivering fresh
organic fruits and vegetables
to residents all over Palm Beach County. Chris also works as a Wine
Consultant for
PRP Wine International, a firm specializing in boutique
wines from small artisan wineries around the globe.
